Today we went to another museum that had some famous sculptures in it. Wow! It was so amazing! The ability they had to carve those is just incredible! They really look like they could be real people! And all the rooms in this building had murals on the ceilings and walls and mosaics on the floors and walls! Wow it was absolutely incredible! Then after that we had a guided walking tour of some of the churches in Rome! That was also incredible! We went to quite a few! Man I can't even explain them! They had painted and decorated ceilings too! And it was just amazing! One of them that we went to was actually built on top of two other churches from forever ago! So we got to go down and see the other two layers below the one that's there now! That was so cool! Then we went to one that is for Mary the mother of Jesus. It was also incredible! Then we stopped at the church that is in Angels and Demons! So yeah this was all guided so we got some way cool info at each place! Apparently one of the statues in the Angels and Demons church wasn't sculpted the way they wanted it to be so they didn't even want it to go in the church. Crazy huh? Then after we went to that church we were walking to another one and passed by the house of the president of Italy and they were doing a changing of the guards! Holy cow it was awesome! They had a lot of their military march out and stand in lines while a marching band was playing! They even sang to some of it! It was a cool experience! And when they were changing the guards they had this whole routine that they did and it kind of seemed like a dance in a way! It was kind of funny! So yeah it was all way awesome! Then after that we went to the Trevi Fountain and threw coins over our shoulders so that we could one day return to Italy! It was so fun! And this is so random but they have some natural springs that run into Italy so they have these water spigot things that constantly have water coming out of them that you can drink out of! It's so funny! But they water is pretty good! It's been nice to be able to fill our water up when w need to. So then after we had free time so we went to dinner at a little restaurant and had pizza then just walked around into different shops and then came back to our hotel. Man it was a fun day! It really is so fun being here! It really hit me today that I am in Rome! It was kind of funny when it happened! So yeah it was a good day!
